Nutritional Therapy

Nutritional therapy takes a personalised, whole-person approach to health. Rather than focusing only on individual symptoms, I look at the bigger picture — including your diet, digestion, blood sugar, sleep, stress, lifestyle, environment and health history — and how these factors may be interconnected.

Using a functional medicine approach, we explore the factors that may be contributing to your health concerns and identify areas where nutrition and lifestyle changes could provide support. Where appropriate, functional testing can be used to investigate potential nutritional deficiencies or imbalances and give us a more detailed picture of your individual health.

I then use this information to create a personalised plan, which may include dietary changes, lifestyle strategies and targeted supplementation, helping you make realistic changes that support your health and wellbeing over the long term.

Functional testing and supplements are optional and charged separately, with 10% off for clients.

Evidence-based
Using current nutritional science alongside clinical experience to inform recommendations.

I have worked with May for 5 sessions and it has really improved my daily eating habits. I am eating a lot better and I'm no longer snacking on chocolate and biscuits in the afternoon as I do not have a crash in the afternoon. I've lost several lbs too which is what I hoped to do

I would recommend using May. She has been very helpful and has provided proper customised advice including great recipes that suit my busy lifestyle, food budgets and inability to cook much.

Susan, 65

I came to May last October with concerns about pre-diabetes and IBS.  My symptoms have improved significantly since following May’s recommendation for a modified diet and carefully chosen supplements.  In three short months, my latest HbA1c test result have come back as ’normal’! And I was back to a healthy body weight! May has my full confidence as a professionally trained nutritional therapist, and one who not only knows the science behind the subject but skilfully shares it with others…. for me that is motivating in itself!

“I was struggling with long term fatigue after a head injury and May really helped me improve my energy levels through a tailored anti-inflammatory diet and supplement plan.

I would definitely recommend May to anyone looking to improve their wellbeing - she is super knowledgeable, has a really considerate approach and opened my eyes to lots of enjoyable healthy alternatives!”
